Mountain Roads Recordings' artist and bluegrass great, Cullen Galyean, passed away peacefully in his sleep early in the afternoon of Tuesday July 13, 2010. Cullen was a pioneer in bluegrass music and while he played most all instruments, he was most at home with his beloved banjo. He will be missed greatly by us all. If you didn't get to meet Cullen, watch the video to the right that was made in preparation for the Born Into Bluegrass project. I was proud to know him and call him my friend
