Quotes

This album is sung and played by musicians between the ages of eleven and seventeen from North Carolina and Southwest Virginia. As with the earlier CD, Close Kin, A Reunion of Bluegrass & Old Time Music, featuring adults, this mixture of bluegrass and old time is exemplary. There are eleven different musicians on this project, and they all comport themselves nicely on the well chosen dozen songs & tunes. The future of this music is in good hands with these young folks. A very nice recording that is not to be missed.
