Close Kin, A Reunion of Bluegrass & Old Time Music To Be Screened at Bristol's PUSH Film Festival

Mountain Roads Recordings is extremely proud and excited to announce that our video Close Kin, A Reunion of Bluegrass & Old Time Music created by Rebecca Jones has been selected for screening at Bristol's 1st PUSH Film Festival.

When PUSH announced a new festival was to be held in Bristol and sought submissions in various categories. MRR asked Rebecca Jones to rework the original video for this project to remove the commercial aspects related to the release and submit it for consideration. We were notified early this week that the submission was accepted for screening at this first event in the category of Short Films.

The festival is being held this weekend in Bristol and our film will be shown in the Short Blocks 2 segment at 3:00 pm Saturday June 13th.

With Bristol being the Birthplace of Country Music and the significance that both Old Time and Bluegrass have in the early country music, we have a great shot at winning our category. Wish us luck, we could get the best short film of the festival.

Thanks so much to all twenty-nine particpants who had a part in making this the tremendous musical project that it is.
